Printing Tips
1.Accessory Compatibility
Not compatible with AMS Series, Cool Plate SuperTack, Hotend with Stainless Steel Nozzle 0.2 mm.
2.Drying Recommendations
As this filament is highly moisture-absorbent, please place any unused filament in a sealed container with desiccant immediately, and dry thoroughly before printing. For more details, please refer to: Filament drying instructions on WIKI.
3.Mechanical Properties & Moisture Impact
Bambu PA6-CF will experience a decrease in strength and stiffness after absorbing water, making it not recommended for printing models with high requirements for strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability, especially thin and elongated models. The prints of PA6-CF usually become tougher and more resistant to impacts, drops, and collisions when they get damp; you can dampen and soften the prints in advance if the model requires high toughness.
4.Support Removal & Post-Printing Timing
When printing a model with support, it is necessary to remove the support structure within 2 hours to prevent it from being difficult to remove after being damp and softened. Please dry the prints and let them cool down if it is difficult to remove the support, and then remove the support in time.
5.Surface Protection & Treatment
Fully impregnating the surface of the prints with paint, wax and other waterproof coatings can inhibit water absorption and prevent them from becoming soft.
6.Safety Tips
- This product is a carbon fiber reinforced filament that may produce fine fiber debris during use, post-processing, or contact with rough or fractured surfaces, posing a risk of mechanical skin punctures or foreign body irritation. To ensure safety, please avoid rubbing or touching rough edges and cross-sections with bare hands; it is highly recommended to wear gloves when loading or unloading the filament, as well as during cutting, sanding, or other post-processing operations, while using additional protective equipment as required by your specific working conditions.
- Please store the filament in a cool, dark, and dry environment away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
- Please keep filament and any broken fragments out of reach of infants, children, and pets to prevent swallowing or choking.
- Please print this filament in a well-ventilated area, or install an effective air filtration or exhaust system.
- As this filament is not food-grade, please avoid using finished prints for food storage or contact.
