All data recovery cases are unique and must be evaluated to understand the nature of the case. We start all our data recovery cases with a Data Recovery Diagnostics procedure to determine if the data is possible to recover or not. If the data is recoverable, we then proceed to determine which level of recovery will be required for the data to be recovered.

Data Recovery Diagnostics includes, a thorough analysis of the data source as well as the data structure to determine whether the data will be retrievable and to determine what level of data recovery would be necessary to retrieve the lost information. This service also covers data recovery cases that need to be mailed out to Gillware for a level 3 data recovery evaluation and estimate of recovery, should that be required for a any given case with no additional cost

Level 1 Data Recovery is needed when the data source such as an external hard drive, flash drive, or memory card had information accidentally deleted off of it or the external hard drive, flash drive, or memory was formatted back to factory settings. Level 1 data recovery is also used if a file was accidentally deleted off of a computer.

Level 2 Data Recovery is needed if there is a firmware issue with your drive and it needs to have the file structure rebuilt and data reconstructed.

Level 2 Advanced Data Recovery is needed if there is a clicking or non spinning hard drive, or if minor hardware adjustments are necessary for a device in order to retrieve the lost information.

Level 3 Data Recovery is needed if there is physical damage to the data source and if a hard drive needs to have hardware replaced along with a reconstruction of the file structure. In level 3 data recovery, a clean room is required in order to perform any hardware replacement. Level 3 data recovery would also cover any liquid damaged hard drives, flash drives, and memory cards.

Smartphone Data Recovery Diagnostics includes, a thorough analysis of the smartphone as well as the data structure to determine whether the data will be retrievable and to also determine what level of data recovery would be necessary to retrieve the lost information. If the smartphone does not turn on or have any power, a complete taredown would need to be performed to assess the data chip.

Level 1 Smartphone Data Recovery is needed if you have lost or deleted photos or videos off of your smartphone. Smartphone Level 1 Data Recovery also covers retrieving photos and videos off of old smartphones or flip phones that no longer power on. (NO LIQUID OR PHISYCAL DAMAGE).

Level 2 Smartphone Data Recovery is needed if a smartphone has high level of physical damage and requires that some components be substituted such as a display or battery in order to make the smartphone operational in order to perform data recovery. This procedure requires special equipment and is treated as a highly sensitive data recovery.

Level 3 smartphone data recovery would be needed if the smartphone has water or liquid damage or may have a NAN chip failure and would require a clean room to take apart the circuit board to get to the memory chip and perform a file reconstruction.
